NPPE Practice Exam
Practice questions for the National Professional Practice Examination (NPPE) taken by engineers and geoscientists across Canada. Choose the topics and how many questions, practise with instant feedback or sit a mock exam marked at the end, and bookmark or ignore questions as you go. Everything stays in your browser.
Disclaimer: This is a sample dataset. The questions were written for study and are not official NPPE questions. There is no guarantee that every answer is 100% correct; check anything doubtful against the official references, and use Ignore to leave out a question you disagree with.

About the NPPE and this practice exam
The National Professional Practice Examination is a computer-based, multiple-choice exam on professionalism, ethics, law and professional liability. Passing it is one of the requirements for a professional engineering or geoscience licence in most Canadian provinces and territories. Each regulator also has its own act, regulations and bylaws, which are outside the scope of this question bank: check those with your own regulator.
Questions are drawn at random from the topics you choose, and you can limit them to ones you have not seen, ones you missed last time, or ones you bookmarked. In Practice mode each answer is marked immediately; in Exam mode you can move back and forth and change answers, and the exam is marked when you finish. The answer order can be shuffled so you learn the content rather than the letter.
Your history, bookmarks and ignored questions never leave your device. A backup file contains question IDs and results only, and restoring it merges with what is already in the browser, so you can move between a laptop and a phone.
